The Shell of Time: An Enduring Presence

Like a shell resting quietly upon the shore, weathered by the relentless wash of tides, its textures have turned into order, and its curves into an inevitability.
We have reconstructed a shell that grows organically from nature—a sand-white curvature sculpted by the sea breeze, with soft contours that respond to the urban scale. Pure white becomes a vessel for light; as rays diffuse from the skylight and glide along the curved walls, time flows seamlessly between the vertical surfaces and the floor.
Greenery extends beyond the arched glass, while the gentle drape of curtains transforms the space into a shifting stage for performance, dialogue, and repose. Hidden walls serve as both portals and interfaces within this shell—where light defines the palette, and curves write the order.
"An Enduring Presence."

The Shell of Temporal Observation

The form of the sales center originates from an observation of time and the environment—a shell resting upon the sand. It is a shape sculpted by the relentless wash of tides over years; seemingly incomplete, yet possessing a profound sense of order and inevitability. The curves are not deliberate stylization but a natural response to environmental conditions—a shell whose surface appears ethereal and light, yet whose structure is inherently stable.
"A curvilinear architecture, silent and merged with its surroundings." This fluid vocabulary is not a mere pursuit of form. The arcs of the shell do not serve as decoration; instead, they act as an inductive interface for light, sightlines, and movement, allowing the building to maintain a soft yet introverted presence within the urban scale.
Upon entering the interior from the pure white exterior, one notices a deliberate reduction in material hierarchy, leaving white as the singular, dominant tone. Here, white is not symbolic purity, but a neutral medium designed to capture the shifting nuances of light and shadow to the greatest extent. Natural light is introduced through skylights and refined through diffusion, creating subtle transitions between curved walls and horizontal planes. As time elapses, the spatial state transforms accordingly.
Through a fluid sense of time, a theatrical spatial rhythm, the permeation of natural elements, and the contrast between light and dark, the space is not defined by a fixed form, but exists as a state of continuous becoming. Within it, individuals are not directed to a specific focal point; rather, between the acts of walking and pausing, they gradually become conscious of the very existence of the space itself.
