Because it takes a lot of effort, the value of the work is revealed
Goal-Oriented Practice Of Existential Design
Ching Chi Design aims to practice the theory of existence in design, but the most important aspect is that the complete picture of all Ching Chi members' work and lives ultimately reflects in the final presentation of the projects.
Thus, at Ching Chi, beyond the recognition our works have received through various awards over the years, we continuously strive to improve our operational organization. We also focus on enriching the lives of Ching Chi members and have invested all our resources into the new Ching Chi office, which serves as a space for both work and artistic expression. All these efforts are made with great dedication, and it is through the collective effort of everyone that we are able to showcase the unique value of Ching Chi's work.

Environment – Office
The office space being planned by Ching Chi Design is located next to Taiwan Boulevard, beside the Evergreen Hotel. This independent space is set apart from its surroundings, designed to be more recessed, filled with greenery, and actively shares its beauty with the surrounding environment. It is thoroughly developed using the language of existence to create a welcoming reception and office area for clients.
Inside, there are several uncommon office facilities, such as a transparent shuttle elevator that spans multiple floors and an open conference and lecture hall, complete with cooking facilities, specialized material storage areas, dedicated research and development spaces, and an outdoor discussion area on a treetop terrace for meetings. Additionally, experimental wind collectors and green boxes will be installed within the office space, making it the ideal environment for Ching Chi members' work and life.
Memory
In the midst of the high-pressure design work, Ching Chi members often seek out joy in life. Besides inter-member social activities, annual programs include domestic visits and international travel organized by the team. Activities like picnics, trips, or paintball games also serve as regular outings outside of work.
We are not satisfied with the status quo and will continue to seek the true meaning of work. After moving into the new office, with its higher level of completeness in space and facilities, we plan to develop more communication and cultural activities within the newly constructed office space and look forward to more opportunities for interaction with external organizations.
Awards
Ching Chi has won various awards over the years, including the TID Gold Award for Public Space in Taiwan in both 2010 and 2012. In 2015, we received the Grand Prize for the Most Successful Design in the Space Category at the Shanghai Successful Design Awards. In 2016, we were awarded the iF Design Award for Interior Architecture in Germany, and in 2018, a research and development design project won the iF Design Award Grand Prize in Interior Architecture, among other accolades.
Over the years, Ching Chi has received a wide range of awards, including the honor of being a two-time recipient of the Taiwan Interior Design Award for Public Space Gold Award.
The recognition and encouragement from these awards instill in us a greater sense of responsibility to fulfill our social mission. Beyond sharing our knowledge, our director, Mr. Su Ching-chi, hopes that in the future, through Ching Chi Design, we can provide a well-equipped space for the Ching Chi Forum and actively connect with lecturers from different fields to realize this aspiration. We aim to expand in more diverse and broader directions, opening opportunities for the public to participate together.
Strict Teamwork, Providing A Full Range Of Services
Ching Chi Design is dedicated to integrating every detail and meticulously organizing teamwork. In contrast to the popular trend of virtual teams and outsourcing, we believe in the value of long-term internal cultural integration. Although this approach incurs higher operational costs, we are convinced that only with longstanding, consistent camaraderie among team members can we develop refined, seamless creations.
