Rooted in a brand spirit that intertwines love, humanistic art, and everyday aesthetics, the design centers on the spatial concept of “presence,” expressed through the interplay of walls, shadows, reflections, and quiet geometries. The lobby, clear and serene like a glass vessel, captures shifting light and time. Sculptural stone elements anchor the space with a calm, exhibition-like atmosphere. The library, inspired by the literary energy of independent bookstores like Tori, becomes a haven for thoughtful retreat.

The dining area embodies the Danish hygge spirit, inviting warmth and connection, while the tea room opens to the seasons with large glass doors, offering a ritual of stillness and sunlight. Each public space is open, adaptive, and thoughtfully crafted—blurring the line between architecture and life, creating an experience where nature, people, and space meet in quiet harmony.

Rooted in a brand spirit that interweaves love, humanistic art, and daily aesthetics, this design adopts “presence” as its core vocabulary—exploring serenity and essence through walls, shadows, reflections,
and geometric constructs. For years, ChingChi Design has refined a spatial language that speaks in quiet, profound tones.

The lobby, like a simple glass vessel, captures and holds flowing light with clarity. Expansive openings bring natural light indoors, allowing greenery and the passage of time to become integral parts of the space, shaping the rhythm and layers of daily life.

At the entrance, a monumental stone installation serves as a visual anchor—symbolizing the grounding force of nature
and evoking the calm of an art gallery.

Function and form merge to create a space with both ritualistic and contemplative qualities.
The library draws inspiration from the independent spirit of “Tori Bookstore,” channeling its creative energy
and intellectual freedom into a haven for the modern soul.

Open book walls, warm wooden textures, and abundant natural light define a literary sanctuary, gently echoing the city’s quiet longing for words and reflection.

The dining space embraces the Danish concept of hygge, using natural materials, gentle light, and communal tables to create a homely,
intimate setting. More than a place to eat, it becomes a center for sharing, gathering, and slow living.

A multi-functional rooftop playroom, brought to life through transparent structures and playful color palettes, offers an imaginative and joyful place for shared community moments. The tea room, expressed through minimalist cabinetry, becomes a meditative retreat—its expansive glass doors invite in sunlight and the shifting moods of the seasons, transforming tea-drinking into a ritual of time and nature.

Overall, the design seamlessly blends Eastern aesthetics with modern sensibilities, emphasizing spatial openness and adaptability. Each zone responds to community needs with flexible configurations.

Through extended thresholds and integrated landscaping, nature ceases to be a backdrop
and instead becomes part of everyday life—fostering meaningful connections between people, space, and the environment.

This is a holistic practice, integrating public service, art, and humanity into the fabric of daily living.
From reading and reflection to gathering and tea, the design offers a full sensory experience of home—an architectural embodiment of softness, spirit, and shared existence.
